 Johnston Morehouse Dickey Company (JMD) was established in 1902, supplying products to the mining industry from our Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, plant. In 1973, JMD relocated its manufacturing and warehousing operation to Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. In 1989, JMD diversified and became a construction supply business, specializing in Erosion Control, Drainage, Stabilization, and Reinforcement of problem soils. In 1994, JMD opened the Cleveland, Ohio, branch servicing the northern part of the state. In 1996, JMD opened the Columbus, Ohio, branch which allowed us to provide full market coverage for the state of Ohio. In 1999, JMD opened the Charleston, West Virginia, branch. JMD is now positioned to provide full market coverage for the entire state of West Virginia. Today, we have emerged as an industry leader, servicing the Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia construction markets. All of our locations are full-service stocking branches, totaling over 60,000 square feet of warehouse space. Our fleet of delivery trucks provide fast, reliable service.
